Clarification
I will no longer refer to the Economic Stimulus Plan of 2008 as welfare checks. Sure, welfare checks are usually thought of as money from the government that you were not owed and did not earn. But after looking at the details I will now thoughtfully refer to it as payday loans. We got money that will be counted as income when we file our 2008 income taxes next year. Oo, and even better than that, the money from that payday loan wasn't taxed. No federal withholding for income and Social Security taxes. So when President Rodham Clinton is forcing people to burn bibles and flags next year don't blame her if you owe extra money while filing your income taxes. The stimulus from this year will be getting taxed next year. Besides, the money was borrowed by the federal government so I'll have to let my kids know that they'll be paying that off for me.

In other news, Barry Hussein Obama Jr. was in Grand Rapids yesterday where he picked up John Edwards' endorsement. You probably don't care about a racist black Muslim that refuses to ever say the Pledge of Allegiance that got sworn into the senate with his hand on a Koran getting the support of a rich trial lawyer political has-been. But it all happened like seven miles from my house.

Mom keeps swearing that the stimulus is "a really nice gift" and we won't be taxed on it. I don't believe in free money. Even Josh's Christmas bonus (free money) is taxed.

That ought to stimulate the ol' economy!

We're spending a large chunk of our payday advance loan on medical expenses that our health insurance company doesn't cover. Some of those bills are from '07. Yipe-ty-aye-ay!

It is almost impossible to be happy about money that will be going to pay bills. Not very stimulating.

Yeah, my boyfriend is basically going to "break even" so to speak since he had to pay $300 in state and federal taxes and that's probably what he'll get back from this stupid stimulus check.

Yeah, I keep saying this is a horrible idea. I wonder what would happen if I wrote to the IRS and told them to take their stupid taxes out of it before they send it to me.

Hillary isn't going to make it far enough to be elected, I'm afraid. We shall soon see.

Mrs. Clinton will not get the nomination, and if she did she still wouldn't beat John McCain. But saying anything mean about John McCain would be... mean. And for now we still have senator Pants Suit running.

There are all kinds of "facts" about BHOjr in forwarded e-mails. Like how he is close to his Kenyan step-brothers even though they are all radical Muslims. And how he never puts his hand over his heart when the winner of a NASCAR race is announced. It's like he isn't even American or something.

I think that having HRC in the White House would be selfish of America by denying the good people of New York their senator. Besides, I think she'd start a war with Iran just to prove she's tough. I also think John McCain would start a war with Iran just to prove that old age hasn't made him soft. I'd be for a war if it was done to actually accomplish something. BHOjr, so far, is talking the most sense.

As for the Michigan Democratic delegate, sometimes you gamble and you lose. That's what happened up here. Howard Dean said not to hold an early primary and most of their candidates had the sense to remove their names from the ballot. HRC kept her name on so it would be an easy win for her. One of the current "compromise" plans is for her to get 55% of the Michigan delegates and 45% for BHOjr. You can guess which candidate approves of that idea.

I was leaving downtown on what night? Wednesday and I asked if traffic was bad yet due to Obama Rama Blama chaos... someone said yes... traffic blocks everywhere... I asked, "Even on Michigan?" yes... I was told. Whatever. I got to Bridge Street, looked up the hill and it was clear, so that took me to I-196 to I-96 to 36th Street exit... and there I saw the Obama Rama Blama plane at the UPS hangar... and several state police and other cops out there -- I think they were moving from the plane to the cars... there were lots of people out and about moving around.

That - is as close as I got to all the stupid blah blah from the other day.

I was trying to poke fun at the idiotic e-mails that have been getting forwarded around for the past year. Most of them I don't even to check on Snopes.com because they are re-treads of phony stories that have been used on other people. It is truly sad that so many people want to believe those things.
